Pune Metro lines explained: Purple and Aqua
Which Pune Metro line goes where, where to change between them, and what is still being built.
Pune has two metro lines open. They cross at one station in the middle of the city.
Purple Line
It runs from PCMC Bhavan in Pimpri-Chinchwad through Khadki and Shivaji Nagar to Swargate, going underground for the last stretch. See the Purple Line page.
Aqua Line
An elevated line from Vanaz in Kothrud through Deccan Gymkhana and Pune Railway Station to Ramwadi in the east. See the Aqua Line page.

Still being built
The Pink Line to Hinjawadi and extensions of the other lines are still being built or inspected. We add a line here once passengers can ride it.
