Meerut Metro explained: the Metro Line
Where Meerut Metro runs today, which stations it serves, and how it links with Namo Bharat.
Meerut has one metro line, which opened on 22 February 2026. It has twelve stations, nine of them elevated and three underground, running from Meerut South in the south to Modipuram in the north.
Metro Line
The line starts at Meerut South and goes through Partapur, Rithani, Shatabdi Nagar and Brahmapuri. It then dips underground at Meerut Central, Bhaisali and Begumpul, and comes up again at MES Colony, Daurli and Meerut North before ending at Modipuram. See the line page for every station in order.
Changing to Namo Bharat
Four stations are shared with the Delhi to Meerut Namo Bharat service: Meerut South, Shatabdi Nagar, Begumpul and Modipuram. At these you can change between the metro and Namo Bharat trains. The Delhi Namo Bharat page lists that line.
Still being built
A depot station at Modipuram was not open when this page was written. We add new stations here once passengers can ride them.
