Indore Metro lines explained: the Yellow Line
Where Indore Metro runs today, which stations it serves, and what is still being built.
Indore has one metro line open so far, the Yellow Line. Its first five stations opened on 31 May 2025, and a second stretch of eleven stations opened on 6 September 2026, so 16 elevated stations are now in service between Gandhi Nagar and Malviya Nagar Chauraha, also known as Radisson Square.
Yellow Line
The line starts at Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Terminal in Gandhi Nagar and runs through Maharani Lakshmi Bai, Rani Avanti Bai Lodhi and Rani Durgavati to Veerangana Jhalkari Bai, the end of the first stretch.
The second stretch continues through the Super Corridor area (Super Corridor 2 and Super Corridor 1), then Bhawarshala Chauraha, MR 10 Road, ISBT for the bus terminal, Chandragupta Chauraha, Hira Nagar, Bapat Chauraha, Meghdoot Garden, Vijay Nagar Chauraha and Malviya Nagar Chauraha. See the Yellow Line page for every station in order.
Still being built
The Yellow Line is planned to continue towards the city centre, the railway station and the airport, partly underground. Those stations were not open when this page was written. We add them here once passengers can ride them.
