Ahmedabad Metro lines explained: Blue, Red, Yellow and Violet
Which Ahmedabad Metro line goes where, where to change between them, and what is still being built.
Ahmedabad has four metro lines open. Two of them run inside the city, and the other two reach Gandhinagar and GIFT City.
Blue Line
The east-west line, from Thaltej Gam through the old city and Kalupur to Vastral Gam. See the Blue Line page.
Red Line
The north-south line, from Motera Stadium through Sabarmati and Usmanpura to APMC. See the Red Line page.
Yellow Line
From Motera Stadium to Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar. See the Yellow Line page.
Violet Line

Still being built
Sabarmati Railway Station on the Red Line, the airport link and extensions of the Violet and Blue lines are not open yet. We add them here once passengers can ride them.
