Agra Metro lines explained: the Yellow Line near the Taj Mahal
Where Agra Metro runs today, which stations it serves, and what is still being built.
Agra has one short metro section open today, part of the Yellow Line. It runs between Mankameshwar in the old city and Taj East Gate, with six stations. The three stations in the west are underground and the three in the east are elevated.
Yellow Line
The open section starts at Mankameshwar, then goes to Dr. Ambedkar Chowk and Taj Mahal. It then comes above ground at Fatehabad Road and Shaheed Captain Shubham Gupta, and ends at Taj East Gate. See the Yellow Line page for every station in order.
Still being built
The Yellow Line is planned to continue west from Mankameshwar to Sikandra, adding seven more stations, and a second line, the Blue Line, is also under construction. Neither was open to passengers when this page was written. We add new stations here once passengers can ride them.
